A Krone style punch down tool is a small hand tool used by telecommunication and network technicians. It is used for inserting wire into insulation-displacement connectors (IDC) on punch down blocks, patch panels, keystone modules, and surface mount boxes (also known as biscuit jacks). The Krone style punch down tool features a scissor action cable trimmer which activates during the punch down process. This tool also features a fold out individual wire removal hook.
